The site doesn’t offer appearance information so what does it show? Well, I did a search for women geeks in my area of Seattle and found 20 within 50 miles of my zip code. From a brief browse of these profiles I found that many like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, iPods and playing Final Fantasy. One even said her favorite gadget was her graphing calculator. Now that is geeky.

The site is easy to search and offers free profiles. If you do sign up they have someone called the Geek Goddess that dispenses advice and help for geeks that need a tip here or there to move forward in weekly columns. Think of her as the geek version of Dear Abby. I was not able to find any information on their site about cost past the free profile.
